Play will begin at 8:00am on Saturday January 25\, 2025.Men’s teams will play Saturday January 25 and Women’s teams will play Sunday January 26.Each division start time will be determined based on total teams entered. Up to $600 awarded to the Division Champions based on the number of teams in your division.  \n\n\n\n\n\nFORMAT \n\n\n\nIPN Team PIckleball is an innovative MLP Style team competition where teams of 4 same gender players compete against each other in an engaging format\, with twists on traditional match-ups and scoring for games\, matches\, and tiebreakers. \n\n\n\nCOIN TOSSAt the start of each match\, there will be a coin toss (or similar random selection). Thewinner will make a choice between these three options:● Choose to be either the Home or the Away team● Choose to start each game serving or receiving (if you choose serve\, your team will serve first throughout the match including the tiebreaker if needed)● Choose which end of the court to start.After the winner makes a choice\, the loser will make a choice between the tworemaining options. After the loser makes their choice\, the winner will make a decisionon the last option available. \n\n\n\nThe player order will be decided at each match coin flip with Home team reacting to visitor player selection. The games for each match will be played in the following order:Team A player 1 & 2 vs Team B player 1 & 2Team A player 3 & 4 vs Team B Player 3 & 4Team A player 1 & 3 vs Team B player 1 & 3Team A player 2 & 4 vs Team B player 2 & 4IPN Team Pickleball team matches are composed of four 21-point games\, rally scoring. You must win by 2 and win on your serve. The away team sets their lineup first and the lineup is the same for the four games in that match. \n\n\n\nIf both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played\, they’ll go to a tiebreaker where one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player\, switching players every three rallies until someone gets to 15 and wins by two points. The home team will set their lineup first for the tiebreaker.  \n\n\n\nTo sign up for any IPN Team event\, a DUPR account is required at the time of registration.
